tradetcgs ("we," "us") operates a free peer-to-peer trading community for Cyberpunk TCG, Palworld TCG, Digimon TCG, Disney Lorcana, Riftbound TCG, Star Wars: Unlimited, One Piece TCG, Gundam Card Game, and Flesh and Blood players. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, why, and how you can control it.
Account information. When you sign up — by email magic link, email and password, or through Google or Discord — we receive your email address and, if you sign in with Google or Discord, the basic profile information those services share with us (typically your name and avatar image). You choose a display name and optional avatar for your tradetcgs profile separately.
Listings, trades, and posts. Any Have/Want listing, trade message, forum thread, or reply you post is stored so it can be shown to other users and so trade history can be used to calculate reputation.
Usage data. Our hosting and infrastructure providers (see below) automatically log standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and reliability purposes.
We use your information to operate the trading platform: creating and displaying your profile, matching Have/Want listings, running the trade proposal → agreement → shipping → confirmation flow, calculating reputation from completed trades, and sending you in-app notifications about your trades and forum activity. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
tradetcgs does not currently collect or store shipping addresses. If you arrange a trade, you and your trade partner exchange shipping details directly through trade messages, at your own discretion and risk. Treat another user's address the same way you'd treat any personal information shared with a stranger online.
We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers to run the site: Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage for avatars) and Vercel (hosting). If you sign in with Google or Discord, those providers process your authentication under their own privacy policies. These providers act as data processors on our behalf and don't use your information for their own purposes beyond providing their service to us.
We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
We keep your account and trade history for as long as your account is active, since reputation and trade history are core to how the community works. You can delete your account at any time from Edit Profile: this removes your listings and avatar, signs you out permanently, and scrubs your display name and email from your profile. Trade, message, and forum records tied to your account stay visible to the other people involved, attributed to "Deleted user," so their own trade history and reputation stay intact. If you'd rather we handle it by hand, contact us using the details below.
tradetcgs is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll remove it.
We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
